I was thinking of ordering a choc 3 and extending my plan with verizon. I got to the near end when ya'll said you needed my social sec. number. why would you need this? you know people shouldn't give that out to someone over the internet, phone, etc. this scared me out of completing my order. please let me know your thoughts.
Answer:
We need your social security number for Verizon. They run a credit report on every customer (even current renewing customers). If you were to go into a brick and mortar store you would need to supply this as well. It is not for our use.
