Canceling your account will deactivate the phones. You won't be able to use them at all. You are best to "tough it out" for the remainder of your agreement and then switch carriers at that time.

Once you upgrade your plan it will be immediately switched over to your new service upon approval and delivery of your new phone. There is an activation fee from T-Mobile with any new phone purchase.

is that the price you are selling this phone for? are you working in partnership with t mobile?

We sell only new phones. The price you see is for new customer contracts to that carrier for applicable zip codes. We are an authorized retailer for T-Mobile. We can offer our phone cheaper because we do not operate with an expensive store front, therefore we have lower operating costs and pass these savings along to the customer.
