Question: I bought my Blackberry pearl from you about 8-9 months back. The track ball does not work anymore now. How cqan I get a replacement phone?

Answer: This is a problem that others seem to face with the BlackBerry Pearl. If you have any experience with a computer mouse with a roller ball, lint and dust often build up inside the mouse and cause the ball to stick. All one needs to do is clean out the rollers inside the mouse and everything is back running fine again. This issue is very similar with pearls. I have included two links below that offer tips to helping you clean this out. The one is a little more technical so be careful if you choose to do this. My other suggestion is to take it to your local AT&T corporate owned store. They have phone service techs there that AT&T employs that can help get the trackball running again. This will cause you virtually no downtime. The final option will require you to send your phone in and be without it for a few weeks. It is not ideal but will be our only option. This is laid out in BlackBerry's user manual for their tech support / warranty issues. http://www.blackberryforums.com/general-8300-series-discussion-curve/81419-blackberry-curve-trackball-does-not-work.html http://www.blackberryinsight.com/2007/06/13/how-to-clean-your-blackberrys-trackball/

Question: I already have the unlimited 2-year plan with at&t am I still eligible for this offer?

Answer: Do you know if your cell phone contract has expired and you are eligible to renew / upgrade your existing family plan? The only one that can tell you if you are eligible for an upgrade is your cell phone plan carrier. We are not privy to that information as there is personal information involved. We can simply only enter sign-up and upgrade information for customers. You should be able to find your carrier's customer service number on your latest monthly bill. If you are available for an upgrade, you should have no problem doing this through lowcostcells.com. When you find the phone of your liking, simply click next to the phone picture where it says "upgrade plan". This will take you to a new window where you will see your upgrade phone price and complete your selection over the next few screens.
