It does not sound like you will be able to as it sounds too close to your last activation. You will need to call Sprint directly to find out her eligibility date. The number to call can be found on your last phone bill. Make sure you ask for both your contract end date and your upgrade eligibility date as sometimes they differ.

My company has been providing me a phone and service for quite some time, but with the bad economy and reduction in work, they have reduced the # of phones they are providing to employees and mine was cut. Bummer. I have my current phone up until April 30th. Anyway, I need to get my own plan and phone. So…I really liked the Purple LG Lotus phone. And the fact that it is free. I plan on getting a 2 year contract with Data - $69.99 a month. I plan on doing this at the end of April, since my company is willing to provide a month of service still to me.
Question is, is there a way to go ahead with the deal but the actual service wont be switched over until April 30th to my plan? Or do I need to wait until then?

We are glad you stopped to check out our deals. We will need you to wait to order your phone as we can't delay activation once the order is accepted. However, I wouldn't wait until April 30th. I would place your order around the 20th. That gives us time to process your order and get your phone to you. Also this gives us a buffer should any more information be needed, etc. We sure hope you decide to stop back and get your phone from lowcostcells.com when that time comes!

I went into the sprint store today i have been wanting the lotus and i have been a sprint customer since it was Etel and the best price i got was 323.00 for 2 phones with a 50.00 mail in rebate on each. How are you coming up with getting them free?

Hello again! Any retailer can offer the phone at any price they deem fit. We simply opt to take a smaller commission on the phone sale and use it to our competitive advantage. With that being said, this phone is free to new customers at Sprint purchasing new calling plans. Existing customers renewing their plans still get this phone for free. However, it is after a $50 mail-in rebate. In today's world, most things can be found cheaper on the internet. Cell phones now happen to fall into that category. I would go back to the store from which they sold you the phones and have them try to match this deal. If they don't, ask them about their return policy. I am sure this is just a setting on your phone. It may alert you to a missed call or a new message. Check your owners manual under "alerts". That should tell you how to change this feature if you so choose.

However, you will be given the opportunity to send in a $50 rebate upon receipt of your phone that will then make this phone free.

The LG Lotus without a new plan or plan renewal is $309.99. When you find the phone on our site click the "order now" link next to the phone. This opens a new window. Inside that new window you will see right next to the phone picture "price without new account". There you will want to click "more info +".
