Question:
If I am on the Family plan and have another phone that is due for an upgrade, if we choose this particular phone will I have to change the plan for this phone. I was told at the Sprint store, when you purchase a BlasckBerry phone there would be an addition charge of about $30.00 month to purchase features for this phone.

Yes, they are exactly right. This phone requires an internet and e-mail plan. The plan is unlimited though so you will be able to use this option as much or as little as you prefer. We are current Sprint customers and our contract was up in August and now we are month to month and are in need of new phones (2). And I live this phone but need to know what the bottom line cost will be. We are eligible for upgrade with our Sprint account and currently have service that we pay 90$ a month for and use about 800-900 minutes a month and we do not have smart phones now and would need an everything plan. So bottom line how much up front and how much monthly purchasing through your site?
Answer:
As with all phones that we sell, regardless of renewal or new customer phones, the price is subject to change with some zip codes. Using Washington DC (20416) as my zip code, these phone are $99.99 each today ($199.98 for both). You will receive two $100 mail-in rebates for the order ($200 in rebates). So on the phones you will actually make $0.02 when it is all said and done.
Now, as far as the plan, the monthly plan will cost you $129.99 for both phones. This does not include the taxes and local fees that appear on your current phone bill. There is an $18.00 each activation fee that will appear on your first bill from Sprint only. The plan you require is for a 1500 minute plan with the following included:
Data: Web surfing, email, BlackBerry Internet Services (BIS), GPS Navigation, Music Premier, TV Premier, NFL Mobile Live and NASCAR Sprint Cup MobileSM
Messaging: Text, pictures and video
Talk: Unlimited mobile to mobile, night calling and weekends starting at 7 p.m., nationwide long distance and no roaming charges

How much is this phone if I already have a plan with 2 phones?
Answer:
If you already have a plan with 2 phones, do you want this phone just to replace on of your existing phones? Or do you want to add it as a 3rd line onto your existing plan? Or upgrade your existing cell phone plan and get this phone? All of our phones are sold either with a new plan activation or with an upgrade of your existing cell phone plan. In this case, your existing plan must be eligible to be upgraded. The cost for brand new activations are Free - $99.99 up front with $100 mail in rebate and the cost for contract upgrade customers is the same $99.99 up front with $100 mail in rebate making the phone free.
