Answer: Yes, the two phones may be purchased on a single family plan without an issue. They are very well priced with both phones free today. Plus, with the Blackjack II you get a $50 mail-in rebate and with the LG VU CU920 you receive a free Bluetooth headset ($59.99 value). As far as text plans, you can purchase a $5 (200 text), $15 (1500 text), or $20 (unlimited) plan. The text plan follows the specific phone so for both phones to have unlimited texting would be an additional $20 each. However, if only one phone needs text messaging you would only have to pay $20 (or whatever price for the plan you choose) for texting. Does that make sense?

Answer: I would look at the Verizon lines than. Verizon offers a service called VZ Navigator that is heads above what other carrier offer. There are four Verizon phones that are touchscreens and work with VZ Navigator: Motorola Krave, LG Voyager, LG Dare, and Samsung Omnia.

Answer: You may convert your plan to a family plan or add a line any time during your contract period. So no one actually needs to be eligible for a renewal. However, the added phone / line will be the only brand new phone that can be purchased. Now, to answer the other part of your question, finding out your upgrade eligibility date is fairly easy. All you need to do is call the customer service number on your last phone bill and ask your carrier for this date. They want to keep you on as a customer so they will gladly give this date to you. Note that your eligibility date and your contract end date are usually different. It would be a good idea to ask for both.

Question: If I order the wine color & get the black LG Vu CU. Is there any difference. I also noticed there was small SD card & a large one. Is this for both of them? Are both of them able to get TV?

Answer: The only difference between the two phones is their face plates. Otherwise, they are the exact same thing. The SD card is a Micro SD card and fits both. As far as TV, it is only available in certain markets. If your market is one that is set up for TV, either of these phones will be compatible.

Question: If i am purchasing the new phone w/ you guy today, but keeping my old number, how is this working?

Answer: Your number is fully transportable by purchasing from us. You will be asked to enter your existing phone number in the check out screens. It will be towards the bottom of the screen in a green boxed area (the screen after you have added the phone to your shopping cart). Also, since your phone won't activate until you receive it, you will have no downtime with that number. Does that all make sense?

Question: I was at walmart last night and they said that you did not have to get the media plan with this phone. But when i go to order this it does not give the option to opt out. So do you or dont you have to get it?

Answer: On our site, to get this phone for free you must get a media plan to go with this phone. That is how we can offer this phone for free. Your Walmart probably has a different offer where you don't have to get the media plan but you have to either sign up for something else or simply just pay more for the phone. However, you only need to keep the media plan for at least 6 months. So using the cheapest media plan, you will have to pay $15 for those 6 months ($90 total). If the Walmart phone is more than $90, you are far and above still winning buy purchasing your phone through us as you are paying less for the phone and getting the use of the media plan.

Sometimes plans are so old that the carriers really have no choice but to end them and have you take on a current plan. Also, it looks like this phone should still be free for upgrade / extension customers as well. Question: Just wondering if there is any way to have a longer ringtone. The only ringtones it will use are 19 seconds long. If i try to set a 25 second ringtone it says file is too large to set as ringtone.

Answer: This is a question that you will have to directly ask LG. We are not aware of anyway to change this setting.
