I would like to up grade to this phone and sign a new contract but keep my 39.00 plan I also have 10.00 400 text message. Is this possible?

At this time we can only upgrade / renew customers with plans that we sell on our site and will not be able to renew an old calling plan if we do not currently offer it. The cheapest call plan we offer is a 900 minute $59.99/month plan.

To find your renewal eligibility date please call your carrier's customer service phone number found on your last monthly statement, and they will be able to tell you your eligibility date. Once there, look next to the phone picture where it says "Buy with plan upgrade (You must....carrier)". Click on that underlined phrase. This will open a new window where you can select a calling plan and / or change the phone. Once satisfied with your selection, click towards the bottom of the screen where it says "add to cart". The next few screens will be your review and check out screens.

Do you know if you are eligible for a contract renewal? Just in case your contract isn't up, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are not eligible to upgrade. You will have to call your carrier to find out your eligibility date for your account. We are not privy to that information. If you are eligible for an upgrade, you should have no problem doing this through lowcostcells.com and your phone of choice will often times be discounted significantly. Search our site for the phone that suits you best. When you find that phone, make sure you are in the "phone details" screen where it shows that phone only with all of its technical specs. Once there, simply click next to the phone picture where it says "Buy with a plan upgrade". This will take you to a new window where you will see your upgrade phone price. Prices may vary by zip code so I will let you find the price on your own rather than quote you a potentially incorrect price. The following screens will help you to complete your selection. Or, if you are more comfortable ordering this by phone, once your new window has opened, click in the upper left corner where it says "order by phone". This will open another smaller window where the toll free number is displayed as well as a call code. During the call you will be prompted to enter that call code so please keep it handy. Just in case you are not eligible for an upgrade, please be aware you will have the options to pay full retail price for a phone.

we wanted to get the blackberry pearl oyster pink phones, but i already have at&t, but my mom is switching to at&t from verizon so can i qualify to get the phone if i get a famil plan with her, with out ending my contract with them just switching my contract with them?!?
Answer:
If your phone is not out of contract and ready for a renewal than your phone can't be upgraded. However, you can still convert your phone over to a family plan of equal or greater value as well as add the phone line on. Then, if your mom is ok with this, you could switch the sim card out of her phone with yours. This would allow your number to ring in on the new phone and your moms to ring in on the old phone (your current phone). To add a line and make these changes, we will need to have you call our toll free number (1-888-843-2380) and talk to our customer service agents as this can not be done via our site. At the first prompt press "1" and at the second call code prompt please enter "117872".

I am due for an upgrade with another two year contract through at&t. I have been their customer since 2003, (previously Cingular, of course) and I was curious if I could order this phone through your web site. Please let me know... my RAZR is not making a decent connection to charge. I had surgery two weeks ago and I really need a phone that works in order to reach my husband throughout this time of recovery.

The phone price will not change by adding services from the carrier. Today this phone is free to new customers. Activation won't change either which is $36.00, but this is charged by the carrier on your first months bill. As far as adding unlimited text messages, this is going to affect your monthly payment to the carrier but not to lowcostcells.com. The phone is still free. It looks like AT&T charges $20.00 a month extra for this texting option.

Do you know if your cell phone contract has expired and you are eligible to renew / upgrade your existing family plan? The only one that can tell you if you are eligible for an upgrade is your cell phone plan carrier. We are not privy to that information as there is personal information involved.
