All you need to do to find this information out is to call your carrier's customer service number and ask for your contract renewal date. You can find their customer service number on your last phone bill. This phone will be preprogrammed before it is shipped and activated upon receipt for you.

Question: before i purchase the blkberry phone, i need to know the contrat

Answer: Thank you for your interest in the this phone. The following are the terms & conditions for this contract. These are the terms and conditions of AT&T and not of lowcostcells.com. They will be the same terms and conditions that you should find at any AT&T authorized agent both on line or in a store. They are taken from the following link on lowcostcells.com found in the "plan details" area of the "order now" screen: http://wireless.lowcostcells.com/terms/carriers/terms62.asp.

Date: 11/26/2008 10:23:00 PM

Question: I am currently a AT&T customer eligible to upgrade. I have a family plan and want to keep the same plan. My question is am I qualified to buy phones from your company and take advantage of the free phones offered. Thanks

Answer: If you are available for an upgrade, you should have no problem doing this through lowcostcells.com. Search our site for the phone that suits you best. When you find that phone, make sure you are in the "phone details" screen where it shows that phone only with all of its technical specs. Once there, simply click next to the phone picture where it says "Buy with a family plan upgrade". This will take you to a new window where you will see your upgrade phone price. The following screens will help you to complete your selection.

Question: Hi. Two questions: 1) Are these phones refurbished or NEW? 2) Will I need to have an AT&T email address, or can I use my yahoo email & be able to check it with the blackberry? Thanks & please contact me ASAP.

Answer: All of our BlackBerry Pearl phones are brand new! Buy with confidence that the only time your phone has been out of the box was for us to prep it for activation upon receipt. As far as having an AT&T e-mail address, absolutely not. That is the beauty of BlackBerry's. You can use almost any e-mail address with them. Please follow this link to see what YAHOO says about having a its e-mail service on a BlackBerry: http://mobile.yahoo.com/blackberry/mail

Question: I want a blackberry 8110 Red and bluetooth are this both free? Currently I have cingular/At&T cellphone which brand is Motorola but it is already old and not working properly anymore. So I need a new one with a bluetooth

Answer: Do you know if your cell phone contract has expired and you are eligible to renew / upgrade your existing plan? Only eligible plans can be upgraded with a new cell phone. The only one that can tell you if you are eligible for an upgrade is your cell phone plan carrier. We are not privy to that information as there is personal information involved. We can simply only enter sign-up and upgrade information for customers. You should be able to find your carrier's customer service number on your latest monthly bill. If you are available for an upgrade, you should have no problem doing this through lowcostcells.com. When you find the phone of your liking, simply click next to the phone picture where it says "upgrade plan". This will take you to a new window where you will see your upgrade phone price. The following screens will help you to complete your selection.

The phone price will be for the phone only and not a bluetooth ear piece. You will be able to purchase this though during the check out process as we offer cell phone accessories at that time.

Question: are the phones really true or not because i did this before and never recieved a phone

Answer: Absolutely this is true! What probably happened is that, for one reason or another, the carrier did not accept your application. What I encourage you to do is to write down your confirmation number / order number upon ordering and then track your order at the following link: http://www.lowcostcells.com/contact-us.html. This will give you a step by step guide to where your order sits.

Question: do you have to qualify whats the catch

Answer: Our store really isn't any different than your local brick and mortar cell phone retailer. We are an authorized agent of the cell phone carriers we list on our site. Our site differs only in that it is simply 100% online. By doing business this way, we can greatly reduce costs and other various overhead. This cost reduction is passed on to our customers allowing us to have some of the lowest cost cell phones in the nation.

Yes, you do need to qualify to receive this phone. First you need to sign up for a cell phone plan and phone on our site, lowcostcells.com. The cell phone carrier of choice must approve you as a customer (basically this is just a credit approval). Once approved, you will be sent your new phone and become an on going customer of the cell phone carrier for the next 2 years, which is no different that a brick and mortar authorized dealer.

Question: if i order this now will it cost me anything???

Answer: If you are a new customer to AT&T, your cost today is $0.00....FREE!!!

Date: 10/6/2008 5:58:00 PM

Question: Are you telling the truth?

Answer: Yes, for new customers, yes. Please note that not every area code in USA has Verizon service so this promo may not work for your area code. Once you enter your area code though, the price it shows for the phone is what the phone costs.

Date: 10/6/2008 10:08:00 AM

Question: HOw much does it cost to buy it? WHat kind of plan do u have to get? what is the catch?

Answer: That phone is free today via AT&T. Also, it looks like you only need to get a 450 minute plan at a cost of $39.99/month plus taxes and fees from AT&T. Honestly, there is no catch. Because we are on-line and don't have to have all the fancy store fronts and buildings, our overhead is lower so we can sell our phones cheaper. There is not catch, and no, it is not too good to be true.

Date: 10/4/2008 3:45:00 PM

Question: Interested in buying without contract. Do you have any refrubs for ATT wireless?

Answer: At this time we do not sell cell phones alone. We only sell cell phones along side of cell phone plans. Also, all of our cell phones are brand new. We do not sell refurbished phones.

Date: 9/26/2008 5:12:00 PM

Question: I have an existing account with at&t and eligible for a upgrade. I have currently a family plan, but I want to just purchase 1 phone and keep my existing plan. It wont let me get one phone with Family plan it wants me to purchase 2 phones for family plan but only one is eligible for upgrade.

Answer: Yes, this is true. We can still do what you are wanting to do though! All you need to do is place your order via telephone (1-888-843-2380) to one of our live customer service agents, and they can process it form there.

Date: 9/23/2008 6:36:00 PM

Question: I have a contract with t-MOBILE already when I order my phone will that contract override my existing contract or will I have two separate ones.

Answer: Unfortunately if your contract has not expired yet, you would have to take on two seperate contracts.

Date: 9/23/2008 3:40:00 PM

Question: if i get the 2 blackberry phones today if i qualify do i have to pay something roght now? or do i have to pay when i receive my bill.

Answer: Under my default zip code, the only carrier that looks like they are charging you today is Sprint. This may change depending on your zip code though. When viewing just the phone, you will see that there are four prices listed. You will want to focus on the "cost today" one. This will tell you if it is rebate that is netting the cost down or just our special today.

Date: 9/21/2008 4:53:00 PM

Question: Am I eligable for this free blackberry if I am already an existing Verizon customer ?

Answer: It looks like this particular special is only for new customers to Verizon Wireless. An option you may consider if your contract has expired with Verizon would be to switch to a new carrier and take advantage of their offer. You can do this and keep your existing number. Once you pick your phone and carrier of choice, a selection screen will appear where you can purchase plan feature upgrades and cell phone accessories. Look for the area with a link (probably green in color) that says "Switch my existing wireless number". That will walk you through all that is needed to make this happen.

Date: 9/10/2008 3:58:00 PM

Question: are your phones sold with the rebates sold with a renewal of contract or do they need a brand new contract?

Answer: It depends on the carrier and the offers they provide at that time. Please click through the plan of choice on either the new plan or upgrade plan paths. Many times, the best deals do come from signing up for a brand new contract. Please note that you are able to transfer your current cell phone numbers over as you change plans and carriers.

Date: 9/8/2008 10:19:00 PM

Question: I am eligible through AT & T for a free upgrade, when I receive the phone all I have to do is place the chip inside and charge it up for use?

Answer: As with any technology, cell phone technology changes at a rapid pace. You may find that your chip will work inside your new phone. However, you may also find that this, in the long run, was a mistake as your phone may not perform at its peak capabilities using your old chip. We recommend you use your new chip included with the phone.

Date: 9/6/2008 2:31:00 PM

Question: I already have plan with at&t and want to keep my regular plan. can I still take advantage of this offer with getting family plan.

Answer: Please call our customer service number at 1-888-843-2380.

Date: 9/6/2008 1:38:00 PM

Question: how about if you already have a family plan but contract is ready to renew

Answer: Once your phone is selected under "see details" (in this case the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Red) click next to the phone on the screen where it says "Buy a family plan upgrade (You must be eligible for upgrade from the carrier)". From there a new screen opens. It should default to a certain plan and two BlackBerry Pearl 8110 Red's. At this time you can switch the second phone, switch the plan, add more phones, etc. When your phones and plan have been decided, click "add to cart". You are then taken to a screen where you can choose multiple accessories and features. Click "Continue" once your accessories and features have been chosen. Here you are at a review screen of your selections. Also, this will be the place where you enter your existing cell phone numbers. Click the bottom of the screen where it says "Continue" once you have entered your existing phone numbers in and have confirmed that this family phone package is as desired. You are now at the checkout screen where you will enter all your pertinent information. If accepted, your cell phones should arrive days later preprogrammed and ready to go!

Date: 7/17/2008 12:28:00 PM

Question: I was just wondering what do I have to do to get the cell phones if its is for free, because this is my first time buying the phone and if you can tell me some things about it.

Answer: In order to get this cell phone for free, you will have to sign up for a cell phone plan of 39.99 or higher. All phones are sold with a plan, they will not work without one. You can read the description of the phone in the link below. You can click 'Order Now' and you will be shown the plan that it comes with, if you need a higher plan with more minutes, you can change it from there. So all you have to do is sign up for a plan and the phone is free and will be shipped to you through FedEx in 24 hours as long as your credit is approved.

Date: 5/22/2008 10:16:00 PM

Question: If I already have an existing family plan account, will this phone be available for me at the price listed?

Answer: Are you interested in getting just a phone without a plan to replace your existing phone? All of our phones are sold with a new plan activation or an upgrade of your existing plan (you must be eligible for upgrade).
