Question:
Does this phone work in Europe and Mexico? Does it have the same functions as the Blackberry Storm/ Bold?
Answer:
With the right plan, the BlackBerry Curve 8310 will work in other countries. We don't offer any international calling plans on our site, however. As much as I would love to help you out, you may want to review all your options for international calling with AT&T directly. If you find a system / plan that will work for you from our site after talking with AT&T, we would love to have you purchase from us! We only specialize in domestic calling. As far as the features of the three BlackBerry phones they are all very similar. The following address puts the three phones against each other (plus the smaller BB Pearl). I don't think I could do a better job than they do of describing this. The address is as follows:http://technology.feedfury.com/content/22782650-blackberry_pearl_vs_storm_vs_bold_vs_curve.html.

Question:
I already have an att acct. will it be compatable?will I have to sign for 2 years? Can I up my minutes? My daughter has att also. would it be cheaper to sign on with them (2)?
Answer:
Yes, all of our AT&T accounts are owned, billed, and maintained by AT&T just as you would receive if purchasing from your local authorized agent or an AT&T Wireless Store. Yes, you will have to sign a 2 year renwal / upgrade plan. You are aloud to upgrade to a larger calling plan and will benifit from doing so if your old plan is no longer offered. Finally, you could be added as a line on your daughters account. It would probably cost an extra $9.99 a month plus the upgrade plan that they would purchase to allow for you to also use their minutes.

Answer:

Question:
I have 3 daughters in college and we had the family plan with Cingular and then it was bought out by AT&T, what kind of deal do you have for 4 phones if I get another family plan? I still have AT&T as our cellphone service, but we need new phones and I would like to get blackberry phones.
Answer:
It looks like to upgrade your phones to four BlackBerry Curves the price of the four phones will be: 1) $74.99 2) $74.99 3) $159.99 4)159.99 respectively. Plus when you receive your phones you will get four $75 ($300 total) mail-in rebates on these phones. In the end you will have spent about $170 for all four phones. The third and forth phones of a family plan are always more expensive. What you could do would be to change that third phone and forth phone to a different kind. When you change brands and phones on the third phone you get a better deal. So if you were to change those phones to Palm Centros, your phones would be $89.99 each. Plus each phone would come with a $40 mail-in rebate when you receive them. If you need help at all during the order process or would just rather renew by phone, please call 1-888-843-2380 (call code 118183) and our customer service agents will be glad to help you from there.

Question:
can i get this phone for the price listed if i am upgrading my phone on the plan i have now?
Answer:
The deal for the upgrade is a little different, though in the end you still get a free phone. You will owe today on the phone is $74.99. However, you will receive a mail-in rebate offer of $75.00. So in the end the phone will be free once your rebate is received (actually you make $0.01)! I am not sure of any other deal out there that can beat this one.

Question:
how is it 74.99 and it says 349.99
Answer:
$349.99 is the original price of the phone before discounts. To order this today, after discount, you would pay $0.01 with a new two year contract. On top of the phone being a penny, there is a $75.00 mail-in rebate after purchase and phone plan acceptance by your carrier. So in the end, you will earn $74.99. Does that make sense to you now?

Question:
I presently have a contract with AT&T. Can I purchase this phone at $74.99 and renew my contract
Answer:
Do you know if your cell phone contract has expired and you are eligible to renew / upgrade your existing plan? Only eligible plans can be upgraded with a new cell phone. The only one that can tell you if you are eligible for an upgrade is your cell phone plan carrier. We are not privy to that information as there is personal information involved. We can simply only enter sign-up and upgrade information for customers. You should be able to find your carrier's customer service number on your latest monthly bill. If you are available for an upgrade, you should have no problem doing this through lowcostcells.com. Search our site for the phone that suits you best. When you find that phone, make sure you are in the "phone details" screen where it shows that phone only with all of its technical specs. Once there, simply click next to the phone picture where it says "Buy with a phone upgrade". This will take you to a new window where you will see your upgrade phone price. The following screens will help you to complete your selection.

Question:
I am considering switching my service from T Moble to your company. It is not that I am particularly dissatisfied with my service but my husband is a XXXXXXXX in Eastern NC and his plan with US Cellular is about to expire and he wishes to switch to a plan that encompasses both his location and mine Which T Moble does not. I have to forgo cell phone reception when I go down to NC and vice versa. I currently have a plan with a 2 year contract with T Moble which I am willing to pay the early termination fee for if your plan would work for us. I have a sidekick and love it and am looking for a comparable quality phone. What is required. I had no problem getting approved for my T Moble account and have it directly debited from my checking account each month. Your company and Sprint are now the two I am considering. Do you have a plan that compares to theirs that gives me EVERYTHING i want (unlimited calls, email, tv, messaging, etc...) for less $99.99 a month?
Answer:
Thank you for your interest in lowcostcells.com! I need to make you aware of one thing before I answer your question. We are authorized agents for all of the carriers that we list on our site and are independently owned and operated apart from them. I just didn't want you to think that you were getting this question answered directly by AT&T. We sell both Sprint and AT&T plans. Both are good companies.
Eastern North Carolina has real sporadic coverage and I am not comfortable saying that either company will for sure work in the zip code that you are needing it to work in. I recommend you contact both carriers and specifically ask if there is coverage in your zip codes of interest.
As for the plans, be careful on what you are looking at on our site as I believe the plan you are talking about below is an individual plan. You will need the family plan if you are going to put both phones on the same plan. The plan price basically doubles for the AT&T Unlimited plan and the Sprint Simply Everything plan. The Sprint Plan probably takes an edge over AT&T as it has a cheaper activation fee as well as is $10.00 less per month, and includes internet and e-mail which you have to pay for at AT&T.
Finally, your phone, it looks like you want a phone similar to a smart phone if not actually a smart phone. I would recommend looking at the following: All BlackBerry Phones Samsung Blackjack II Samsung Propel A767 All Palm Phones

Question:
Hello,
My cell was stolen yesterday, and I need to replace it. I just called customer service, and they told me to contact you. I would like to order a phone that is no cost to me and does not add extra charges to my phone bill. I would need that as soon as possible. She also mentioned that some of the phones are free and shipping is free too. The phone number listed above is the Cell phone that was stolen. Customer Service said that I was eligible for an upgrade on that line. I would like the best you have available. I have been a customer since 2006, and have bought many phones at full price with the $50 rebate. I never sent all of the rebates in. I have about 12 phones here that are broken. I cannot afford to purchase another.
Please let me know asap, because I need a phone asap.
Answer:
Actually, do you like that phone? That phone, for my default area code, is $74.99 today with a $75.00 mail-in-rebate. After rebate, this is a free phone. Because we are an independently owned business separate from AT&T and BlackBerry (Research in Motion), we can not get around the rebate as it is through them. If we would, we would lose money. I hope you understand.
This is a great phone. If you follow this link, http://www.lowcostcells.com/att_blackberry-curve-8310-red-11898.html, you will go directly to the page with this phone on it. Click next to the phone picture where it says "Buy with a phone upgrade (you must be.....)". This will open a new window where you can select the plan to go along with this phone. You can either select your current plan or make a change to a new plan with AT&T. Also, if you don't want the BlackBerry Curve, you could change this phone here as well. Once the phone and plan match to your liking, click the green arrow that says "add to cart". The next few screens will be the check out screens where you can select additional plan features, phone accessories, phone insurance, and enter your information before order submission.

Question:
Is there any thing wrong with these phones? And is this a acam
Answer:
No and no. We are 100% legit, authorized retailer for the carriers listed on our site. We sell only brand new cell phones and do not sell any reconditioned or refurbished phone. The reason our cell phones are so cheap is because we are 100% on-line. We do not have the expensive overhead that a regular brick and mortar retail store has. Instead of pocketing the savings we receive by doing business this way, we instead pass this along to the customer. As you can see this allows us a huge competitive advantage over our competition.

Question:
I currently have a Palm 650 I want to upgrade from, and use the address book to keep my client list on. Does the Curve have this same capability, and if so, what are its limitations?
Answer:
The key here would be to mark sure that your Palm 650 has its client list loaded to an e-mail server compatible with the BlackBerry Curve. I believe that the Palm 650 can integrate with Microsoft Outlook. The BlackBerry Curve 8310 can as well. That would be a great place to download the address from your Palm to and then upload the addresses to your curve. Also, I should mention that you can integrate up to 10 e-mail address on the BlackBerry Curve.

I have existing service w/ at&t, contract is expired. I have two additional lines that I added on 9/07. Can I upgrade my phone w/out upgrading my other two phones? Also, I need to upgrade my package. What are my options?

Absolutely you can upgrade just your phone & plan if they are expired. It sounds as though your phone is the "main" line on the account. To process this request, please call into our customers service agents at 1-888-843-2380. Because not all phones are being upgraded at once, this can not be processed on line. Question:
what is a good black berry phone to get
Answer:
Personally, I would choose between the BlackBerry Curve and the BlackBerry Pearl. They are both pretty awesome little phones. How I would decided between the two would strictly be based on whether you are better at a QWERTY keyboard or rather you are better at a "texting" keypad keyboard. The curve runs on a QWERTY keyboard while the Pearl has the "texting" keypad. Both perform generally the same. The curve is a little wider and therefor has a larger screen; while the pearl is sleek and smaller in size which is nice for fitting in pant pockets.
One last thing to draw your attention to is the new BlackBerry Pearl 8220. This little phone is new to the BlackBerry line and is the first BlackBerry flip-phone. Its features are nearly identical to the other Pearls in the family other than they are a "candybar" phone. This phone is available exclusively through T-Mobile.

Question:
do these plan prices include the blackberry e mail severce or is it seperate.
Answer:
The BlackBerry e-mail service is a separate monthly fee. You can see this by selecting your BlackBerry Curve and then by clicking "order now" next to that phone. The following screen is a new window that has opened showing the phone along with a voice plan. Once you have decided on the voice plan click the green arrow in the bottom right of the page. That third screen is where you will pick your plan options and phone accessories. In this screen you will select what BlackBerry plan, if any, you would like.

already have a family plan..how will the cost change?
Answer:
Do you know if your cell phone contract has expired with your current carrier? The only one that can tell you if you are eligible for an upgrade is your cell phone plan carrier. We are not privy to that information as there is personal information involved. We can simply only enter sign-up and upgrade information for customers. As far as cost change of your plan. I am sure that you can find a plan at or near the cost of your old plan. Usually plans have only improved as the years go on. If your current plan is not still available via your current carrier, we believe in many ways that the new replacement plan is generally an upgrade to your existing plan at about the same cost.

Question:
Does it include text messaging
Answer:
During the check out process, once you have added the phones to your cart, there will be a screen where you are able to choose phone accessories and features. In each of the phones will be an option to choose a text messaging package or stay with the standard pay-per-text included option. This way, if only one out of the four phones is a heavy texting phone, the other three do not pay for something they do not use.

Question:
Price per month for 4 family phones how many minutes
Answer:
The cost for all four BlackBerry Curve 8310's will be a net gain of $100.00 after mail-in-rebates. That is a pretty good deal! As far as the plans you can choose from, there are many plans to choose from at many price levels. It all depends on what features you want for these phones and how many minutes you will use in a month on all four phones. Please follow the link below to find the plan that fits your needs:

Question:
i have a family plan with 3 phones. 2 phones are eligible today for upgrade. can i get 2 blackberry curves 8310 free with my upgrade?
Answer:
An order of this type will have to be done via our live customer service agents at 1-888-843-2380. At this time, we can not process orders like that on-line. From what I could look at, it looks like the phones would not be free but it does look like they are going to be pretty darn cheap. When you call into the customer service number and press "option 1", they will ask you for a code. Please enter 111114. It may not be the exact right code for this application but at least it will point them in the direction of the Blackberry Curve 8310.

Question:
How much does it cost all together?
when can it be sent out?
how do i make the 74.00s?
Answer:
As far as when this phone can be sent out, shipment depends on how long it takes to check your credit, the information accuracy entered (it is easy to mistype something), and our back log of other shipments. Everyday we have phones that were ordered that day, go out that day. The earliest you could get your phone would be 2 days from time of order if everything flowed smoothly.

Question:
I already have an A&T account. If I obtain my Blackberry(ies) from you, establish a new and more minutes account with you will I be penalized and have to pay any kind of termination fee with my current AT&T store vendor (It's an AT&T owned store). Please reply with answers.
Answer:
It sounds like you are still under contract with AT&T. Usually you sign a 2 year contract when purchasing a cell phone. AT&T will be the only one that can tell you if your contract has expired or if you have been with them long enough that you automatically are available for an upgrade. If you are available for an upgrade that can all be done via our site under the "renew / upgrade your (family) plan" link on any specific cell phone "order now" page or via our customer service agents at 1-888-843-2380. The typical penalty for early termination of a cell phone contract is $200.

Question:
What are the differences between the Blackberry 8310 and the 8800 series. Which is better for a Realtor and which is best for someone wearing hearing aids?
Please reply ASAP.Thank you
Answer:
The main difference is size. The 8800 Series is larger, has a longer battery life, and probably should be carried on your hip in belt-hook carrying case. The 8310 is smaller, sleek, and is more likely to be carried in a pocket versus on your hip. That is about it though. I would tell you they would be about the same for a Realtor. It is more how you want to carry your phone and how much you value more battery time between charges.
As far as the best phone for hearing aids, it is my suggestion that any one using hearing aids and talking on a cell phone use an ear plug / ear piece. Remove one of your hearing aids and plug that ear plug in that ear. Truly, it is like the phone is being projected through your hearing aid that way. You can either do this via a plug in ear piece which is attached via a cord to your phone or via a wireless, bluetooth, hearing piece.

Question:
My phone was stolen last night. Can I order a new plan and extend my contract another 2 years? I just ordered a phone 5/9/08 and purchased insurance but the company can not be reached by phone and has not answered email yet. I am a realtor and must get a phone asap. Is this possible to get a blackberry curve today?
Aqueelah S. Haleem
Answer:
Unfortunately at this time I am not going to be able to help you. The only way I have authorization to sell a cell phone is if you purchase a cell phone plan. Try searching under the term "unlocked cell phone". The e-retailers that come up under that search should be able to help you. Also, it doesn't look like you purchased your phone and plan through us so I will not be able to help you with your phone insurance either. We are sorry for your unfortunate position right now. Please keep us in mind the next time you are able to upgrade your cell phone. Good luck to you!

Question:
If I am a customer with at&t what procedure will I have to follow to complete this transaction?
Answer:
Has your contract expired and you are now eligible for an upgrade? If so, select the phone of your choice. In this instance it looks like you want the BlackBerry Curve 8310 Red. Once you click the "order now" button next to the phone, a new screen should open showing the phone with a suggested plan. To the left of the phone there is a button that says "Renew / upgrade your phone". Click that and the page should refresh to this option. Now click the green arrow labeled "add to cart." The new screen that appears is the screen where you will pick available phone accessories and plan features to customize this cell phone and plan to your liking. When satisfied with your accessories and features chosen (also make sure to have entered your current phone number), click "continue." The next screen allows you to review your selections. If satisfied, simply click "checkout." The rest of the way you just need to enter you information for the order to proceed to finalization. If accepted, your phone should arrive in a few days!
